This is a subject close to me. Sometimes it feels like a Demon has taken up residence in my back. I'm alone with my pain. It feels as if no one is within sight. Once someone finally arrives the treatment of heat, rest and rubbing start; the demon starts fighting to stay. It doesn't go without testing my endurance and tollerance for pain. An eviction of agression and malice. He marks his spot in my body so he knows right where to go when the conditions are right for him to return.

Hey man, nice manip, really. But personally I would remove that "ghostly" tree in the background. It's a little out of context and it looks like you just stamped it on the image. Maybe you could try to cut some of its trunk at the height of the horizon line so that it would appear more like belonging to the far background, you know what I mean? I hope I've been clear enough with my botched english
Anyway, kudos to those scars on the back, they look great

Thanks for the pointers my man. Yeah, I forget now why I put that in there. I think I wanted to balance out the image, give it more depth maybe, but it doesn's seem to work too well. Most everyone has said the same thing, except for one cat. He want's to use it for an article in a magazine about agriculture. I'll post the version without the tree as well.

Tell me about it. You can read what he (~greyparade) said in my comments above actually. I believe it might be in reference to the drouts and famine happeing in parts of the world.

Check my gallery. I reloaded a new version of Back Pain w/out the tree. It's called Back Pain v3. Let me know what you think.

Thanks man.

Ah, now I see. :)
Regarding you new version of the work, what about trying a different crop for the image? What about cropping it into a squared frame? ;)

Wow! Really? I would be honored. Please do use it. All I ask is that you give me credit and possibly a link to my profile. Also, could you let me know when it's published and possibly send me a copy? And your English is far from terrible, very good actually.

Thanks again.
